In the Movies

North By Northwest

In 1959 the Hyde Park Station site appeared in Alfred Hitchcock’s classic movie “North by Northwest."  Roger Thornhill's train makes an unscheduled stop at our station where Eve points out that, "Two men got out of a police car as we pulled into the station.  They weren't smiling."

Ghosts of the Heartland

In 2004 several scenes in “Ghost of the Heartland” were filmed at our station.  The crew spent the day filming, including interior and exterior scenes utilizing our collection as props.
