In 1959 the Hyde Park Station site appeared in Alfred Hitchcock’s classic movie “North by Northwest." Roger Thornhill's train makes an unscheduled stop at our station where Eve points out that, "Two men got out of a police car as we pulled into the station. They weren't smiling."
In 2004 several scenes in “Ghost of the Heartland” were filmed at our station. The crew spent the day filming, including interior and exterior scenes utilizing our collection as props.
The station appeared in this 1982 film when Michael Dorsey and Julie Nichols' train passes by on its way up the Hudson.
